PURPOSE: A method for forming an electrode active material layer is provided to obtain an electrode active material slurry with excellent dispersibility of conductive particles, to uniformly disperse the conductive particles within the electrode active material layer and to maintain the ion conductivity of an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming an electrode active material layer for a secondary battery comprises the steps of: preparing master batch type soluble crosslinking binder resin-conductive agent composite chips(10) in which conductive agent particles are dispersed within a crosslinking binder resin by dispersing conductive particles(5) in a melt solution of a binder resin(3); dispersing the master batch type soluble crosslinking binder resin-conductive agent composite chips and electrode active material particles in a solvent, and then issolving the soluble crosslinking binder resin of the composite chips to prepare an elelctrode active material slurry; and applying the elelctrode active material slurry on a substrate and drying the coated material.
