PURPOSE: A purging block for bubbling plug capable of securing the traverse directional opening rate of a horizontal slit is provided to produce a high quality pure steel product. CONSTITUTION: A purging block for bubbling plug comprises a purging panel(11), a vertical slit(12) and a horizontal slit(13). The purging panel is connected in order to accomplish the form of block. The vertical slit is formed on the front side or back side of each purging panel with a fixed distance. The horizontal slit offers a thin face part(13a) which cuts a melting part when the inner pressure increases over a specific pressure.
