METHOD FOR FORECASTING FOREST FIRE DANGER RATING AND THE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for forecasting a forest fire and a system thereof are provided to reduce a possibility of a forest fire by extracting danger factors from geographic information and forest physiognomy information. CONSTITUTION: A method for forecasting a forest fire and a system thereof are comprised of the steps: dividing the whole contrary by a unit lattice and extracting a weather danger index at unit lattice from weather information; extracting a geographic risk index and forest physiognomy risk index from geographic information and forest physiognomy information at unit lattice; extracting a forest fire risk index from the extracted geographic risk index and forest physiognomy risk; and displaying a result on a map by unit lattice.
