PURPOSE: A winding type field of a linear synchronous motor including teeth divided into two parts and the linear synchronous motor are provided to easily discharge heat by mounting a field coil wound around a bobbin. CONSTITUTION: A slot(111) is formed between a first divided teeth(112a) and a second divided teeth(112b) to face an armature(10). A coil receiving groove(116h) is formed between adjacent divided tooth. A field coil(6) is combined with the coil receiving groove. A sub teeth(114) includes a sub pole shoe which is protruded in an outer direction of the field core.
