A method for preparing a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell is provided to maintain adhesive force between a catalyst layer and an electrolyte film, to prevent separation of the electrode and electrolyte, and to ensure long lifetime and stable operation of the fuel cell. A method for preparing a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: casting a polymer solution on a substrate; drying the cast polymer solution for manufacturing an electrolyte membrane not to be completely dried; laminating a catalyst layer on the first dried electrolyte membrane(201) and completely drying the electrolyte membrane to form catalyst layers(203,205) on one side of the first electrolyte membrane; and preparing a second polymer electrolyte membrane formed with a catalyst layer for a second electrode, and contacting the surfaces which does not form a catalyst layer and adhering the first polymer electrolyte membrane and the second polymer electrolyte membrane.
