PURPOSE: A method for breeding chicken and layer is provided to increase egg production rate of layer and to reduce death rate of chicken. CONSTITUTION: A method for breeding chicken comprises a step of breeding chicken in the condition of irradiating the farm of chicken for 15-22 hours per a day using LED illumination having 450-590nm of wavelength band. A method for breeding layer comprises a step of breeding layer in the condition of irradiating the farm of layer for 13-19 hours per a day using LED illumination having 530-690nm of wavelength band.
