PURPOSE: A communication device installed in a vehicle used in a communication system and a method for delivering information using the same are provided to retransmit a safe message to rear vehicles, thereby reducing traffic of the communication system. CONSTITUTION: A driving information processor obtains location information from a GPS satellite to determine a driving direction of a vehicle. The first vehicle(800) receives a hello message transmitted from the second vehicle(804). A wireless transceiver receives the first safety message. A transmission determining unit determines whether a vehicle is a forwarding vehicle through information of the first safety message.
