PURPOSE: An energy detection based IR-UWB system is provided to continuously generate short impulse by using a delay unit and use a plurality of impulses as one symbol. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(210) converts an impulse signal into an impulse UWB(Ultra Wide Band) signal. The transmitter generates a USB signal about information corresponding to one bit or one symbol. A receiver(220) detects energy of the UWB signal. The receiver detects a signal based on the detected energy.
