MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR THE DIELECTRIC CONSTANT BY USING THE OPEN-ENDED COAXIAL CABLE

PURPOSE: A method for measuring dielectric constant using an open-ended coaxial cable is provided to minimize the thermal expansion and contraction of a probe when the probe is exposed to high-temperature or low-temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring dielectric constant using an open-ended coaxial cable is as follows. A material having a low expansion coefficient is selected as the material of a probe in order to minimize the thermal expansion and contraction of the probe(S1). When the probe is exposed to high-temperature or low-temperature, the measurement error of the probe is corrected. The measurement error of dielectric constant is additionally corrected.
