INSPECTION AND MAINTAINING METHOD FOR BRIDGE CABLES AND GANTRY THEREOF

PURPOSE: An inspection and maintenance method for a bridge cable and a movable platform therefor are provided to efficiently inspect, repair, and reinforce a bridge cable by properly adjusting the height of each cradle. CONSTITUTION: An inspection and maintenance method for a bridge cable is as follows. Multiple wire ropes(40) are coupled between a main tower anchor(142) and a slab anchor(143) which connect bridge cables(140). A movable platform(1), composed of a trolley and a working lathe(20), is formed in the wire ropes. Works for inspecting, repairing, and reinforcing the bridge cables are performed by moving the movable platform along the wire ropes. The working lathe is downward suspended using electronic hoists(21).
