PURPOSE: A method for cooling or hot working strength of cokes is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by improving the strength of cokes and broadening coal selection. CONSTITUTION: A method for cooling or hot working strength of cokes compriseS next steps. The silane compound(R-Si(OR)n) is added in coal as the cross-linking agent raising crosslink. The coal adding silane compound is charged in a coke oven facility. The silane compound is one selected from phenyltrimethoxysilane, propyltrimethoxysilane, amino ethyl aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. The silane compound is added less than the coal total weight comparison by 3.0~30.0 weight%. The silane compound has the particle size of 5~30nm. The furnace temperature of the coke oven facility maintains 1110~1120C.
