Injection mold with conformal cooling channel for manufacturing plastic fans

PURPOSE: A fan forming injection mold having split independent shape-adaptive cooling channels is provided to perform a uniform cooling by forming a cooling channel according to the shape of the blades of a blowing fan. CONSTITUTION: A fan forming injection mold comprises a phase, lower molds(20,30) and cooling channels(41,42,43,44). The top and bottom molds are combined in order to form a hub forming space and a blade forming space. The blade forming space is expanded from a hub forming space in a radial direction. The top and bottom molds are made using a rapid prototyping method. The cooling channels are independently formed in blade forming spaces of the lower mold. The cooling channel has a cooling water inlet and a cooling water outlet.
