PURPOSE: A method for grain refinement for titanium alloy ingot is provided to obtain micronized uniform grains by employing three-stage cooling including air cooling and water cooling. CONSTITUTION: A method for grain refinement for titanium alloy ingot comprises the steps of: preparing + type titanium alloy ingot employing Ti-6 Al-4 Fe-0.25 Si alloy(wt.%)(S100), heating the ingot to 100-150C higher than the transformation point to mold the ingot first(S200), cooling the first molded product with water(S300), heating the first molded product to 20-50C higher than the transformation point to mold the first molded product secondly(S400), cooling the second molded product with water(S500), heating the second molded product to 20-50C lower than the transformation point to mold the second molded product thirdly(S600), and cooling the third molded product with air to micronized the grains of the ingot(S700).
