PURPOSE: A device and a method for comparing optical true time-delay lines for monopulse radars are provided to be stably and rapidly operated compared to a phase comparator which uses multiple variable wavelength light sources.;CONSTITUTION: A device for comparing optical true time-delay lines for monopulse radars comprises first and second optical modulators(200a,200b), a single wavelength light source(400), an optical true time-delay line(500), a variable optical attenuator(600), an optical detector(700), and an RF signal output unit(800). The first optical modulator converts an RF signal received from a first RF signal input unit(100a) into an optical modulation RF signal. The second optical modulator converts an RF signal received from a second RF signal input unit(100b) into an optical modulation RF signal. The optical true time-delay line delays the converted optical modulation RF signals. The variable optical attenuator attenuates the delayed optical modulation RF signals. The optical detector detects the attenuated optical modulation RF signal and converts the detected optical modulation RF signal into an RF signal.
