MOMENT PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDER AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A prestressed concrete girder in which moment prestress is applied and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by remarkably reducing the amount of required steel bars. CONSTITUTION: A prestressed concrete girder(100) in which moment prestress is applied comprises a pair of block-out units, a compression member(120), tension members(110,110'), a pair of connectors(130), and cast-in-place concrete(140). The block-out units are arranged at positions separated from both ends of the girder. The compression member is buried in the top of the girder, and both ends of the compression member are exposed to the block-out units. The tension members are extended from the block-out units. The connectors connect the ends of the compression member to the ends of the tension members. Moment prestress is applied to the gap between the block-out units, and the gap between the block-out units is filled with the cast-in-place concrete.
