PURPOSE: A curtain wall structure using a fire-resistant lightweight board and a construction method thereof are provided to delay the transfer speed of flames and poisonous gas and to improve fire-resistance by closing the space between a fire-resistant material and a slab using a fire-resistant finishing material.;CONSTITUTION: A curtain wall structure(100) using a fire-resistant lightweight board comprises a slab(110), a frame(120), fixed corner brackets(130,130'), side brackets(140), first and second fire-resistant materials(150,160), and a fire-resistant finishing material(170). The frame is at right angles to the slab. The fixed corner brackets are fixed to the top and corners of the slab to fix the frame to the slab. The side brackets fix the fixed corner brackets to the sides of the frame. The first fire-resistant materials are fixed to the inner surfaces of mullions(121) and transoms of the frame. The second fire-resistant materials are fixed to the front surfaces of the mullions and the transoms and the edges of the first fire-resistant materials. The fire-resistant finishing material finishes the space between the first and second fire-resistant materials and the slab.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
