SKIN CARE APPARATUS HAVING A FUNCTION FOR MEASURING GALVANIC SKIN RESPONSE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A skin care apparatus equipped with a measuring function of the skin conductivity has developed, which is comprised of; at least one of DC-DC converter units (20, 21, 22, 123) for boosting input voltages; a galvanic unit (60) for applying a galvanic current between a hand electrode (J7) and a skin electrode (J6), a switching unit (30, 130) for switching an operational mode of the galvanic unit, and a microcontroller (2) for controlling the DC-DC converter units, the galvanic unit and the switching unit, the galvanic unit measures the skin conductivity of the user by detecting the galvanic current from the contacted electrode. Accordingly, it has merits to obtain the best skin treatments by measuring the user's current skin conditions of the moisture and deposited galvanic ion levels, to avoid the risks of the over- or under- treatment of skins and to prevent the unnecessary power consumption.
