Method for producing torrefied bio-coal for co-firing with coal in Coal-based power plant

PURPOSE: A torrefaction process for generating bio-coal, which is co-fireable with coal in a boiler for a coal-fired electrical power plant, is provided to save costs required for installation by omitting a separate vacuum device. CONSTITUTION: A torrefaction process includes the following: the constant amount of bio-mass is introduced through an introducing part; the bio-mass supplied to a drying part is transferred to a recuperative screw and stirred to be dried by irradiating radiant heat from temperature raised thermal oil and irradiating microwaves; the dried bio-mass is introduced into a torrefaction part and is transferred to the recuperative screw and stirred to undergo torrefaction by irradiating the radiant and the microwaves; and the bio-mass is discharged.
