PURPOSE: A seasonal prediction method of temperatures based on the initialization of snow depths is provided to predict the seasonal weather of the east area region based on the initialized depth of snow. CONSTITUTION: A seasonal prediction method of temperatures includes the following: the depth of snow is initialized based on the observed depth of snow and the simulated depth of snow in a model(S200); and the initialized depth of snow is inserted into a weather model to generate the predicted seasonal value of temperatures(S300). The observed depth of snow is normalized, and the normalized depth is multiplied with the simulated depth of snow in the model, and seasonal value of snow depth in the model is added to the multiplied value in order to initialize the depth of snow.
