PURPOSE: A safety fence for a downtown park for preventing a puddle is provided to minimize puddles by rapidly draining a large amount of rainwater through a drainage way formed along the boundary line of a park. CONSTITUTION: A safety fence for a downtown park for preventing a puddle comprises a drainage way(10), handrail posts(20), guiderails(30), elastic bodies(40), sagging detection sensors(50), a control unit, and warning lamps(70). The drainage way is composed of a drain outlet(11) and a cover(12) and is installed along the boundary line of a park. The handrail posts are installed in the inner side of the drainage way at uniform intervals. The guiderails are installed between the handrail posts at uniform intervals. The elastic bodies are embedded in the joints of the handrail posts and elastically support first connections(31a) of the guiderails. The sagging detection sensors are embedded in the joints of the handrail posts and sense the movement of the first connections of the guiderails. The control unit receives the sensed results from the sagging detection sensors and controls the operation of the warning lamps. The warning lamps are installed on the tops of the handrail posts and emit light to the outside.
