PURPOSE: A single AC motor control device, a single AC motor trouble detecting method using the same, and a method for monitoring lifetime of a phase capacitor of a single AC motor are provided to individually monitor motors using counter electro-motive force. CONSTITUTION: A first comparator(210) outputs a first pulse signal. The first pulse signal is in proportion to first counter electro-motive force. A second comparator(220) outputs a second pulse signal. The second pulse signal is in proportion to second counter electro-motive force which is inputted after a lifetime monitoring time interval. A control unit(230) determines whether a first motor normally operates based on the first and second pulse signals.
