PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for monitoring seawater intrusion is provided to improve installation convenience and to determine the thickness of each layer and seawater intrusion regardless of complex calculation.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for monitoring seawater intrusion comprises: a groundwater mixer(210) for mixing groundwater existing in a monitoring well(10); a sensor unit(220) comprising one or more sensors for sensing water quality of the groundwater; and a determination unit(233) which determines seawater intrusion based on the stored water quality information.
