POINT PORTION OF A RAILWAY TURNOUT AND A RAILWAY TURNOUT THEREWITH USING A MOVABLE RAIL

PURPOSE: A point portion of a railway turnout and a railway turnout therewith are provided to prevent sleepers and parts of the ground within the moving range of a movable rail from being exposed to snow or rain.;CONSTITUTION: A point portion(1000a) of a railway turnout comprises a guide track(100), a pair of cutoff membranes(121,122), and a moving unit. The guide track is composed of a stock rail(110) and a movable rail(120). The stock rail and the movable rail are installed on a sleeper. One end of the movable rail is horizontally movable to guide the wheels of a train to a specific turnout. The cutoff membranes are coupled to the left and right surfaces of the movable rail to prevent the movable rail from touching the wheels of the train.
