PURPOSE: A pretreatment apparatus for rope jacket working is provided to ensure uniform strand density and to improve rope quality. CONSTITUTION: A pretreatment apparatus for rope jacket working comprises: a mount(23) fixed on the ground; a ring-shaped support(20) which perpendicularly stands at the mount and through which a rope(100) penetrates; a plurality of rollers(230) which are coupled to the ring-shaped support in a same interval; a rotary ring(220) which is supported to the rollers and is coupled to the ring-shaped support; a rotation pulley(210) which penetrates the center of the ring-shaped support; a driving pulley(211) which is coupled to the rotation pulley with a belt(212); and a driving motor(213) which is coupled to the mount.
