PURPOSE: A drainage layer material for constructing vegetation ground on salinity-affected areas, and a producing method thereof are provided to gradually drain excessive water from the salinity-affected areas. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a drainage layer material for constructing vegetation ground preparing organic pieces(10) formed with 60-80wt% of organic pieces with the particle diameter of 1-2cm, 15-30wt% of organic pieces with the particle diameter of 0.5-1cm, and 5-10wt% of organic pieces with the particle diameter smaller than 0.5cm; preparing an aqueous solution of a first coating material(20) including a compound containing silicon, and a compound containing urea, a phosphoric acid containing material, sulfuric acid, and potassium; spraying the first coating material solution to the organic pieces, or soaking the organic pieces in the solution; semi-drying the organic pieces for coating the first coating material; and coating a second coating material(30) containing a calcium containing material, a magnesium containing material, and minerals to the organic pieces.
