Backup emergency core coolant injection apparatus with controllable openness of pressurization heavy water nuclear reactor

PURPOSE: An openable backup emergency core coolant injecting apparatus of a pressurized heavy water reactor is provided to prevent a nuclear fuel from being damaged by injecting backup emergency core coolants to a breaking circuit at a flow congestion timing. CONSTITUTION: An openable backup emergency core coolant storage tank(2) stores backup emergency core coolants with high pressure. An injection valve(3) supplies and blocks the coolant of the backup emergency core coolant storage tank. A signal transmitting unit(4) controls the injection valve. A pipe(7) connects an entrance header(5) installed in a core(1) to an exit header(6). A differential pressure sensing unit(8) applies an open signal to the injection valve in a flow congestion.
