1. A method for optical investigation of the contents of turbid media, comprising stages in which:! provide broadband light (2); ! spatially separated by many bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) of wavelengths contained in broadband light; ! separately modulate the many bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) wavelengths; ! re-combining many modulated wavelength bands into a beam (11) of spectrally encoded broadband light; ! illuminate the turbid medium (8) with a beam (11) of spectrally encoded broadband light; and! detecting light emanating from the turbid medium (8) with a detector (9) and demodulating the detected light with a demodulator (10) to provide spectroscopic information; characterized in that! feedback is provided with the step of modulating multiple bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) of wavelengths. ! 2. The method according to claim 1, in which at least two wavelength bands from a plurality of wavelength bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) have different widths relative to the wavelength. ! 3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, in which the many bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) of the wavelengths are modulated in such a way that at least two bands of wavelengths that are adjacent in the broadband light (2) are not are adjacent to the demodulation process in the demodulator (10). ! 4. The method according to claim 1 or 2, in which different wavelength bands from a plurality of wavelength bands (2a, 2b, ..., 2n) are modulated in such a way that, for at least two adjacent wavelength bands, the intensity detected by the detector (9) has the same order of magnitude. ! 5. The method according to claim 1 or 2, in which many modulated wavelength bands are detected and analyzed before the cloudy medium is illuminated (8), and the result is returned
