The contactless optical-laser diagnostics transient regimes of eddy currents, based on the combined use of LDA and PIV, comprises a pulsed laser with the characteristics: pulse energy - not less than 120 mJ, the switching frequency - not less than 16 Hz, the two CCD cameras with frequency resolution of 8 to 16Hz angled 30 ÷ 120 ° to each other and at an angle of 15 ÷ 60 ° to the bore axis of the rotor, optical prisms, image processor, the laser anemometer with an optical probe configured to argon laser and a processor processing d oplerovskih signals, and a personal computer.
