METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION OF NECK LYMPH NODES

FIELD: medicine.; SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the area of medicine, namely to the ultrasound diagnostics, and can be used for ultrasound examination of neck lymph nodes. The continuous and sequential scanning of lymph nodes in all anatomic areas of neck is performed by stages. On the first stage the lymph nodes of upper-frontal mediastinum are examined. On the next node the scanning is performed on lymph nodes along the neck vascular bundle and on paratracheal nodes on the right. On the next stage the lymph nodes are studied along the clavisternomastoid muscles, and also at the place of fixation of clavisternomastoid muscles to clavi-sternal junction and to mastoid bone on the left. Then the scan is performed on the lymph nodes of inner part of lateral triangle of neck on the left, the lymph nodes of accessory nerve area and supraclavicular area on the left. Then the scan is performed on lymph nodes of outer areas of lateral neck triangle on the left. Then all the stages of echo scanning are repeated on the right. On all the stages of scanning the sensor is located and moved in particular way.
