FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacturing method of products from aluminium alloys of AA2000 series, and namely to deformed aluminium products with relatively large thickness of 30-300 mm. Method involves casting of workpiece - ingot from aluminium alloy of AA2000 series, which has chemical composition containing the following, wt %: Cu 2 to 5.5%, Mg 0.5 to 2%, Mn max. 1%, Zn 1.3%, Fe 0.25%, Si 0.10 to 0.35%, residue comprises Al, foreign elements and impurities, pre-heating and/or homogenisation of cast workpiece, hot deformation treatment of workpiece using one or more methods chosen from the group consisting of rolling, extrusion and forging, solution treatment, workpiece cooling, optional tension or compression of workpiece or other cold deformation treatment of workpiece for release of stresses, which is performed by straightening or drawing or cold rolling of workpiece, and ageing of workpiece in order to achieve the required state. At least one heat treatment is performed at temperature in the range of more than 505°C, but lower than solidus temperature of the considered aluminium alloy. The above heat treatment is performed either: (i) after heat treatment by homogenisation prior to hot deformation treatment, or (ii) after solution treatment, or (iii) both after heat treatment by homogenisation prior to hot deformation treatment, and after solution treatment.;EFFECT: obtaining the product having improved balance of properties, and namely tensile yield strength, breaking strength rupture limit, destruction viscosity and relative elongation.;24 cl, 4 tbl, 1 ex
