FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and biophysics, and may be used in ophthalmology. Patient's eyes are exposed to a displayed system of horizontally movable vertical alternating dark bands. A band width and a motion speed are adjusted so that to minimise a nystagmus amplitude. Besides, the band motion direction is changed by the opposite one that is followed by another adjustment of the band width and motion speed to reduce the nystagmus amplitude further.;EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in nystagmus.;11 dwg, 1 ex
