METHOD OF MAKING DECORATIVE NATURAL STONE-IMITATING COATING ON WOOD SURFACE

FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coating with imitation finish not inherent in decorated surface, in particular, wood surface. Method of making coating imitating natural stone comprises applying three paint-and-lacquer layers on processed surface. Note here that first layer is made of alcohol-soluble nigrosine base or black pentaphthalic enamel. Second, primary layer is produced by dipping article in vessel containing oil-paint mixed on water surface. Note here that mixing is performed to make pattern approximating to that of imitated natural stone. Prior to adding to water, paint is diluted by turpentine and linseed oil taken equal portions. Note also that third layer id made of oil varnish. Note that drying and curing of film-forming substance after application of every layer is performed at T=100-120°C for 30-60 min.;EFFECT: higher physical properties, simplified process, lower costs.;6 cl
