FIELD: radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for direction finding of radio signal sources with working frequency pseudorandom tuning (WFPT) in short-wave band. Essence of invention consists in the fact that in direction finding method of radio signal sources with WFPT in short-wave band, which involves reception of radio signals, frequency selection and measurement of phase of received signal elements, reception is performed with flat rare antenna array (AA) of N non-directed antenna elements (AE), as well as selection operations of base triple of AE, search operations of versions of possible full phases for base triple are introduced; after that, regeneration of signal phases is performed on the rest (N-3) AE, residual quadratic discrepancy in phase measurements is determined and actual direction-finding bearing of radio signal source with WFPT is determined as per minimum discrepancy in phase measurements.;EFFECT: higher quick action during direction finding of short signal messages.;2 dwg
