FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of natural gas and gas treatment, particularly, to optimum recovery of methanol from water-methanol solutions (WMS) at gas production plants. Proposed method comprises WMS degassing, separating free condensate therefrom, heating WMS in regenerator unit and methanol recovery from WMS in rectifier tower with heat exchange plates, cooling methanol vapors in refrigerator and their condensing and discharging into reflux tank, feeding accumulated methanol for irrigation in rectifier tower and discharging excess methanol into storehouse. Note here that WMS is fed, after free condensate separation, into buffer tank for it to be heated to 20°C to 40°C and settled to destruction of fine dispersion "condensate in water" and precipitation of impurities. Note also that buffer tank volume is selected proceeding from the condition that, at least, 50% of emulsion is destructed and stable rectification.;EFFECT: higher quality of recovery, decreased scope of repairs and negative effects on ecology.
