The mechanism (1) has a movable magnetic element e.g. movable permanent magnet or micro-magnet (20), arranged on a ferromagnetic striking portion of a hammer (2). A fixed magnetic element e.g. fixed permanent magnet or micro-magnet (21), is arranged in a gong part and arranged partially opposite to the movable element. The fixed element generates magnetic field with polarity opposite to that of magnetic field generated by the movable element. The hammer is driven toward a gong (11) for vibrating the gong by magnetic pulse due to repulsive force of the elements, in striking mode.
