The method involves providing a process gas (11) under continuum condition with Knudsen numbers less than one in an outer cylinder (12) that is rotatable by a rotation motor (14), and identifying resulting gas flow by indicators i.e. impeller. A time constant is utilized for determining an adjustment of stationary flow of the process gas by a pressure reduction of the process gas. A set of dilator components is provided for illustrating rotation phenomena of the gas.
