The method involves linking a group (G1) of communication channels (K1-K4) and another group (G2) of communication channels (K1,K2) of a bus capable apparatus (T) e.g. sensor with an interface (S3) through an associated prescription unit (ZV3). The channels (K1,K2) of group (G2) are incorporated in channel group (G1). The interface (S1) of light control unit (F1) is linked to sensor by connecting interface (S1) with interface (S3) through associated prescription unit (ZV1). The light control unit is connected to bus capable apparatus (A) e.g. actuator through separate link.
