The solid cage (2) has cage pockets (8) that are opened at a front side of the cylindrical rollers. A part of the cage pockets is opened in an axial direction and a part of the other cage pockets (10) is opened in another axial direction. The cage pockets are opened in the former axial direction over the cage circumference in a distributing manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a solid cage.
