The cage has a has a solid structure (1) which is provided with the open cage pockets (3) between the end faces (4,5). A portion of the cage pocket is opened in one axial direction and the other portion of the cage pocket is opened in other axial direction. The axial directions of the cage pockets are closed by the circlips. The grooves (6,7) and the sections (8,9) are formed in the front end faces. An independent claim is included for a roller bearing.
