The device (10) has wiper arms (12) performing a periodic wiping motion and comprising a guide (14) coupled with a drive (22) and a wiper blade (16). The blade is held along longitudinal direction of the guide. A displacement device allows an oscillating displacement of the wiper blade relatively to the guide such that the wiper blade moves with five times of frequency based on periodic movement of the wiper arms. A slider is coupled with the guide via a return spring, where the slider and the guide movably interact with magnetic members.
