The method involves diverting the tubular preform (12), where the outer-sided sediments are wiped and transported by tubular preform. The sediments are adhered in the near area of the discharge gap of an extrusion nozzle. The tubular preform is used as cleaning element during its deflection. An independent claim is also included for a device for dedusting of extrusion heads during the extrusion of thermoplastic materials.
