The method involves converting potential energy into electrical power for usage at any time, where the potential energy is obtained from a high performance fiber such as carbon fiber, zylon(RTM: thermoset liquid crystalline polyoxazole) or dyneema(RTM: ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), having a high aspect ratio. The potential energy is formed with an aspect ratio of a carbon nanotube (CNT) bundle, where the CNT bundle is connected by a plastic matrix. The energy retrieval is made by unlocking of the CNT bundle.
