The lorry (1) has a power supply unit (7) arranged in a battery box (6) e.g. battery pack, within a vehicle body (5). The body is provided with a lateral opening (8), and the battery box is relatively movable to the power supply unit through the lateral opening in a horizontal direction. The body is provided with an electrical jackscrew actuator when driving a thrust carriage (9) from an operational position into an alternate position. The body is latched against a lateral bending when the thrust carriage is automatically moved from the alternate position into the operational position.
