The box (1) has a support section placed on a photovoltaic solar module (6), and a connecting line (5) electrically connected with a conductive contact element. The connecting line in a connected state establishes an electrically conductive connection to a connection section of the solar module. The box is placed on the solar module by producing a mechanically stable electrical connection of the connecting line with the connection section by actuating an actuating element (3). The actuating element is placed on the connection section corresponding to a top portion (6a) of the solar module.
