Producing or repairing a component (20), preferably components of a turbomachine, comprises: applying a layer of a first material (13) on a base, and solidifying its predetermined layer portion; successively applying and at least partially solidifying additional layers of the first material to produce a first component portion; applying a layer of a second material (14) on the produced component portion, and solidifying its predetermined layer portion; and successively applying and at least partially solidifying additional layers of the second material to produce a second component portion. Producing or repairing a component (20), preferably components of a turbomachine, comprises: applying a layer of a first material (13) on a base, and solidifying its predetermined layer portion; successively applying and at least partially solidifying additional layers of the first material up to a predetermined number of layers to produce a first component portion; applying a layer of a second material (14) on the produced first component portion, and solidifying its predetermined layer portion; and successively applying and at least partially solidifying additional layers of the second material up to a predetermined number of layers to produce a second component portion, where the production method is designed as a beam-melting method, preferably laser or electron beam sintering method. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for carrying out the above method comprising an applying portion with an adjustable production platform (10), two storage portions to provide at least two different materials, at least one application device for introducing the materials into the applying portion, at least one radiation source (9) with at least one distributor for focusing and adjusting at least one energy beam for solidifying the materials respectively introduced into the applying portion, and a control device for controlling the device for producing the component, where the materials are suitable for the beam-melting method, preferably laser or electron beam sintering methods, and the radiation source is formed for generating laser- or electron beams for sintering; and (2) the component of the turbomachine, which is produced or repaired by the above method or the device.
