The holder (11) has a socket housing (12) comprising a cylindrical recess with side walls including a latching unit corresponding with a counter latching unit of a lamp cap (13). Socket contacts (34) form an electrical connection between connecting lines and the lamp cap. A socket axle is moved along insertion movement around which a rotating movement takes place. The socket contacts are vertically arranged with each other with respect to the socket axle and formed as wire jumpers that are mounted at the socket housing.
