Grilling or frying vegetables, preferably eggplant, pepper or zucchini, comprises adding cut vegetables into vegetable oil, grilling or frying them, adding vegetables into brew, and removing vegetables from brew and packing
Grilling or frying vegetables, preferably eggplant, pepper or zucchini, comprises (a) adding the cut vegetables into the vegetable oil for a period of time that is sufficient for at least partially soaking the vegetables in the oil, (b) grilling or frying the vegetables prepared in step (a), (c) adding the vegetables after step (b) into a brew made of an aqueous solution for a predefined period of time, and (d) removing the vegetables from the brew and packing with refilling the packaging with the vegetable oil. The brew comprises at least water, salt, sugar and an acid containing element. Grilling or frying vegetables, preferably eggplant, pepper or zucchini, where the vegetables are packed for later sales and sold in packages, comprising at least one preparation step, a grilling or frying step, and packing of the vegetables in a vegetable oil or an oil mixture, comprises (a) adding the cut vegetables into the vegetable oil for a period of time that is sufficient for at least partially soaking the vegetables in the oil, (b) grilling or frying the vegetables prepared in step (a), (c) adding the vegetables after step (b) into a brew made of an aqueous solution for a predefined period of time, and (d) removing the vegetables from the brew and packing with refilling the packaging with the vegetable oil. The brew depending on the type of grilled vegetables, comprises at least water, salt, sugar and an acid containing element, preferably vinegar, balsamic vinegar and/or citric acid.
