The pump has a compressor (1) for a refrigerant, a capacitor (2), a vaporizer (3), and an expansion valve (4) arranged between the capacitor and the vaporizer. A collector (5) is arranged at a fluid circuit of the refrigerant at a pressure-sided region and behind the compressor. The collector is formed as a cylindrical container, which comprises larger cross-section and integrated into a pipeline system. A control valve shifts flow resistance of the expansion valve between two fixed flow resistance values, and a temperature sensor is provided at an injection position at the vaporizer.
