The fuel injection system has a high-pressure pump that conveys fuel in a high-pressure storage, where the fuel is supplied from a fuel tank. The high-pressure storage is connected with a fuel injector over a high-pressure line. The high-pressure pump has a pump piston (2). A rolling body is provided with a piston carrier (1), a roller shoe (3), a roller (4) and holding clamps (9,10).
