The car has a body section (2) locked by a displaceable window pane (4) with a displaceable additive pane (6). The displaceable additive pane is arranged on a passenger compartment side facing the window pane in a parallel position such that the displaceable window pane and the displaceable additive pane pass on an edge of a body section by a seal. A pivoting device is provided for bringing the seal out of contact with the displaceable additive pane before and/or during transfer movement of the displaceable additive pane. The additive pane is made of plastic e.g. polycarbonate (PC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).
